Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sour cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir to combine.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the creamy beef stroganoff over cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley.
