Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds mixed fish fillets (such as cod, haddock, or sea bass), cut into chunks
- 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 pound mussels, cleaned and debearded
- 1/2 pound clams, scrubbed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Crusty bread for serving
Method:
- Prepare the Seafood:
- Clean and prepare the fish fillets, shrimp, mussels, and clams.
- Sauté Aromatics:
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add Vegetables and Spices:
